| The story so far... |

Michael Dalrymple was one of the first tree surgeons in the south east, starting in 1959. |

In 1986 Michael and his team were the first manufacturers in the United Kingdom to design and produce brushwood chippers and green waste shredders.

We exported to 13 countries around the world, including Australia and Sri Lanka. |
 |
We produced compact botanical screeners which were ahead of the market. These enabled our clients to produce a quality compost from low grade material.

Our UK shredders were designed to make service on site easy, even machines that weigh 15 tons. |

Our briquetting mobile machine is still years ahead of its time. Able to produce a briquette in the field from rice husks, coffee cherry, sawdust, king coconut and sugar cane begasse, it makes it possible for third world countries to cook meals using an indigenous waste product as fuel. |
 |
Then, in 1993 we decided to joint venture our common sense British designs with two Italian factories to offer better prices and Italian hydraulic excellence.
Arbor Eater Brushwood Chippers Limited is born
Michael Dalrymple has finally retired from day to day running of the business, and his daughter Lucy has taken over as Managing Director. Born and bred in the industry she continues the Dalrymple philosophy – offering honest advice and technical knowledge. |

Seeing a need for a chipper that could travel up motorway banking at 45 degrees we designed, with our trading partners Pezzolato, a tracked brushwood chipper. This of course was copied by our competitors, but we made a great deal of sales before they caught up with us. |

We have machines working on tea estates in Sri Lanka and cotton plantations in Africa. All our machines are beautifully easy to service and repair, and we have a next day spares service for machines we made over 16 years ago. That’s something to be proud of.
Being tree surgeons for over 40 years we know what the trade expects. It’s what we would expect. It is all very well selling machines but you need to know how to repair and help customers any time they need you.
To this end our partners Pezzolato in Italy asked us to take over the servicing and supply of spare parts of the machines in the past sold by Eurogreen Ltd. We are pleased to say we now carry spares to help all users of that range of chippers and shredders. |
 |
In the ever increasing market for firewood and added value from your waste material we added log splitters and sawbenches to our range some years ago. These have sold well, with some new machinery coming out soon. |
